The seventh annual Philanthropic Foodies culinary showcase, taking place on Sunday, July 29 at Marriott Syracuse Downtown from 4-8 p.m., will benefit Friends of Dorothy House and Shamrock Animal Fund.
SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The seventh annual Philanthropic Foodies culinary showcase, taking place on Sunday, July 29 at Marriott Syracuse Downtown from 4 to 8 p.m., will benefit Friends of Dorothy House and Shamrock Animal Fund.
The event will feature tasting stations with a variety of menu items, prepared and served on-site by 18 Syracuse area chefs, including:
Tasting stations are paired with beverages provided by local businesses, including: 1911 Spirits, Brewery Ommegang, Buttonwood Grove Winery, Crowne Plaza Library Lounge, Dr. Konstantin Frank Vinifera Wine Cellars, Last Shot Distillery, Lock 1 Distilling Co., Middle Ages Brewing Company, Mighty Swell Cocktails, Opici Family Wines, Peaks Coffee Co., Treleaven Wines, and Vine & Barrel.
Philanthropic Foodies also features a live and silent auction, a wine toss, and live entertainment provided by Professional Victims (Ashley Cox and Shawn Sullivan) and local jazz soloist Jimmy Cox.

Over the past six years, Philanthropic Foodies has raised nearly $270,000 for a variety of local nonprofits.
